Since most of these are made primarily for human consumption, they contain ingredients like salt, higher sugar levels, preservatives, and many others, some of which are ingredients that are unhealthy for your dogs, and shouldn’t be fed to them.

If the peanut butter cookies are homemade, specifically for your dogs, with none of the harmful ingredients, then your dog should be able to eat them and do just fine.

The process of making this is the same with all other cookies, the ingredients are the only things that are different. To make peanut butter cookies that your dog can safely consume with no harmful side effects, here are the ingredients you’d need:

• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup of nonfat milk
• 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups of whole-wheat flour

Dogs can only eat no-bake peanut butter cookies that are made as a treat for them. No-bake peanut butter cookies made for human consumption often have ingredients and preservatives that are not safe for pets, and in your case, a dog’s consumption.

But when the no-bake peanut butter is either homemade or sold as a treat for dogs, your dog should be just fine.
